Dazzling Dave
On January 18th, 2011 Underwood School had a yo-yo professional give a demonstration on how to properly use a yo-yo and the mechanics behind it. Being a former middle school teacher, Dave knows how to teach and show students in a way that they can relate. He showed the kids some tricks and taught them about things such as a yo-yo's ability to improve hand-eye coordination and the fundamentals of physics.
In October of 2001, Dave was picked to be one of the members of an elite group of National Yo-Yo Masters, making him one of the exclusive members of the Yo-Yo judges at the World and National Yo-Yo Championships each year.
Dazzling Dave has been many places in the world. He not only tours all over the United States, he also has toured Japan, Korea, Australia, and France.
Currently Dave lives in Minnesota and gives hundreds of shows each year. He lives with his wife, Kim, their two wonderful children, Eric and Kate, and his incredible collection of over 1,000 yo-yos from around the world.
