Yesterday, the kindergarteners traveled to area parks in Fergus Falls for our 'KINDERGARTEN FUN DAY' - celebrating the end of the year! Mr. Fred Rogers said it best..."Play is the work of childhood" - so we spent the day playing!
Last Wednesday our preschoolers took a trip to Trowbridge Zoo! They were able to see and feed so many South American animals.

Underwood Preschool continues to receive a Four-Star Parent Aware Rating from the MN Department of Human Services. Our quality early education program has been in existence for over 40 years! We use the best practices that prepare children for school and life.

Concerts are grades 1-3 at 1:30pm, and grades 4-6 at 2pm.

The 6th grade went to Park Rapids for the Character Challenge Course to celebrate their DARE graduation.

Kick off the week by attending the Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, May 14th at 7:00 p.m. at Sverdrup Lutheran Church in Underwood. This event is open to the public.

Our NHS Celebration for "Change for a Change" today at 9:00.
Day 2 in Duluth the 6th graders were able to experience a Vista cruise around the Habor, tour the William A Arvin ship that has been turned into a museum. They also walked down to the canale as the waves were huge and ended the day at the aquarium. Definitely a great history trip
Reminder - Friday, May 5th is a scheduled Early Release day. This is an "A" Day, meaning we will hold periods 1-5 in order.
The 6th grade had a great history lesson today at the Forest History Center in Grand Rapids were they went back in time to the 1900s Northwoods logging company.
Pinocchio was performed by a talented cast at Underwood School on Sat, April 22
The Underwood 6th grade had their DARE graduation today. They have been learning about the dangers of vaping, smoking and drug use. They have also learned how to deal with peer pressure and improving communication skills. Thank you Officer Doll for your time and efforts.

All after school activities tonight, April 20th, are cancelled, due to the weather. This includes the play practice scheduled for today after school.
This also includes all OTC sports.
